دی

From Dadvah — "The Creator", an epithet of Ahura Mazda

Dey derives from Dadvah — "The Creator" — one of Ahura Mazda's many names. It is a winter month of contemplation, of the inner life. The winter solstice falls on the first day of Dey — the absolute longest night. After Yalda, the light begins to return, day by day. Dey is the darkness that makes you believe in dawn.
