The ball tossed into the field in spring has the best trajectory: forward, into the green, with the whole field ahead. No Question makes of Ayes and Noes — the spring ball doesn't hesitate. It goes where it goes, into the blooming field, and the going feels like freedom even if it isn't. He knows about it all — in spring this knowledge feels like guidance rather than control. The hand is warm. The field is green.
HE knows, and what He knows is spring, at least for now.
