27 Ordibehesht 1405

Quatrain 53 of 75

“With Earth's first Clay They did the Last Man's knead,

And then of the Last Harvest sow'd the Seed:

Yea, the first Morning of Creation wrote

What the Last Dawn of Reckoning shall read.”

Omar Khayyamtr. Edward FitzGerald, 1859

Reflection · Spring 1405

The first Morning of Creation is most present in spring — the Nowruz equinox is itself the first morning of the new year, the same equation solving itself again. The spring soil is the clay of the first garden. What the Last Dawn shall read is being written now, in this spring. The first morning wrote the last dawn — and every morning in between is part of the same sentence. Your spring planting is connected to the first morning's planting by an unbroken chain.

This is not diminishment — it is expansion. You are a clause in the sentence that started before language.
